Borne Fruit

Look what my garden produced.

Just the one fully ripe one so far but there are many more to come. As long as the slugs don't get to them first.

Here it is in a salad.

So proud.

Ooh la la! I am impressed ... something (little fly-like creatures) have invaded my tomatoes. And I am not happy about it.

Keep the inspiration coming.

My latest favourite is pan fried haloumi, tomatoes and caramelised balsamic drizzled over - and some leaves of course...

Mouth-watering!

We used to have a tomato competition in our family, which required home-grown tomatoes to be presented for judging at Christmas Day lunch. Prizes and everything!

That is one good looking tomato. Have you seen the Kumato in the shops lately? I've not seen it before and was thinking I might see if there are seeds available for it.

I am currently looking at a lot of zucchini flowers in my vegie patch and hoping some of them will turn into full blown zucchini's. If not I will just eat the flowers ;-)
