What shall I knit?

A lovely friend gave me these two gorgeous skeins of Noro Gisha yarn in colour 108 as a New Year gift.

The question is, what am I going to knit with it? I'm hoping you clever crafty knitting people out there might be able to make a suggestion.

Maybe a scarf? That's about the extent of my knitting repertoire.

How about, for something completely different, a bag of sorts?

A pair of socks for Rhubarb's feet? ;)

What about a vest? I see they're back in fashion for winter (though maybe quite as colourful)!

Well I'm absolute useless on this one as I can barely sew a button on a shirt, much less knit.

I'm sure that whatever you do it will be lovely and I will once more be in awe of your talent.

What a good present!
You should ask Ravelry for suggestions.

A quilt! That's my answer to all craft questions.

A cap.

I've been making bagillions of them.
So, a cap.

:p

I'd go for a shawly wrappy type thing that you could either wear, or just throw over a chair or something.
Without knowing the yarn, it looks like it would be nice in a really open, lacy type stitch.
Lucky you.
