Ballet exams today.
I spent the day doing "ballet hair" for lots of nervous girls.
Walking to the exam.
All smiles when they came out. The examiner was lovely. No-one forgot their steps. KelpieBlossom is already fretting waiting for the results to come.

What lovely hair! Those ribbons are gorgeous. Now I'm nervous too.
Thanks for the translation! I was sure that it's international saying.
Oh wow, I remember that hair, wow, they still wear those nets!
Thanks for your comment on my finished scarf, you are right about the variety of yarns, it is incredible how many fibres are available now and of course the magic of the internet opens up a whole other world, very dangerous for the bank balance though.
oh my goodness. Now THAT is a 10/10 ballet bun. You won't find me challenging you to a bun-off.
Fingers crossed for KelpieBlossom, although I'm sure she'll have blitzed it.
Thank you all (y'all). I've been learning hair from the Master (KelpieBlossom's teacher).
She doesn't use gel except in extreme situations (ie short hair). Instead she spritzes with water and lightly hairsprays - a much less severe look for younger girls.
And yes, poshyarns, the nets! KelpieBlossom uses heavyduty "nana" slumber nets because she has masses of thick hair.
I hope KelpieBlossom has done well! Fairlie, a bun-off is hilarious.
love your buns!!!! Looks like they should be in a pantene add!
oh my goodness - what lovely hair you weave !
( Jealous ! )
When do you 'hair' back? She looks beaudiful by the way (yes, I meant to spell it that way).
I glanced at your 'About Me' blurb again and it makes me laugh, you so do not repeatedly fail to organise your families lives. If you fail, what does that mean for the rest of us!
Welcome back from the wilds of NZ ArmyWife! We prob "hair" back towards the end of November.
THAT is an impressive bun. I'm not going to show my daughter as then I'll really be labelled a bad mother!
And thanks for dropping by - I hope the trick and treating went well for you. :)

As you might note I am in the deep bowels of you blog ... I have got caught up when I am suppose to be refreshing my resume for me upcoming self imposed unemployment period ... but alas I am radingyou - ya :)
We were at dance class yesterday - my wee lads do creative movement - a precurser to anything more structured to see if they have any interest that has not been manufactured by me ...
Anyways all the creative movers have started to learn their concert routine ... and it is a joy to watch 17 3-5yrs go thru the moves ... my boys are the only boys and are having issues with the hip shashaying (is that a word - look it up in your big book ) ... yet somehow it s still magical - long live the desire to dance ! le xoxo
