... and now the washing machine is leaking rust-coloured water.
Great.
Oh, and our Foxtel box is playing up. Foxtel can't figure out what is wrong over the phone so they are sending out a technician sometime between 7am-12noon NEXT TUESDAY.
I'm completely fine about the TV being out of action. I am not completely fine about sitting around for 5 hours on a Tuesday waiting for the technician to fix something I don't even like.

You may be fine about the TV being out of action, but are you fine with living with husband and kids when TV is out of action??
Oh no! I hope I didn't jinx you with my comment on your earlier entry about large appliances following the breakdown trend! Good luck with a timely and early visit next Tuesday!
if our foxtel died there would be tears at my house ..... mine included - sad but true.ps my eyes are not to square
Well, see... we have a second Foxtel outlet. HOWEVER, it doesn't have IQ and it also must compete with the dreaded PS2. So this evening it was interesting watching Firegazer and 2 kids negotiating TV/PS2 rights. He ain't called Firegazer for nothing.
I, meanwhile, sat on my bed with loads of pillows reading "Sunnyside". aaah, the serenity.
I just cancelled ours last week ( well, talked AB down to the basic package ).
Am much preferring ABCKids to NickJr.
Because that's basically what we were pying $100 a month for: Nick Jr...
Agree with you H&B, we're down to Basic, Sports and Kids. My kids are into Disney and Nick (big kids version). I'm into none of it.
After a week of letting the kids watch as much as they wanted at Nana's house (one kid watching as much Hannah Montana & The Sweet Life of Zac & Cody and the other Animal Planet) I was well ready to get them home and away from it. They can't understand why we wont get it at home.
