I am the only one in my group at work who has not been absorbed into the iPhone Borg. They all love it. I am waiting for my Nokia to expire before getting one.
Too big for my pocket. I find the phone part of it the least likeable and have no reason to be connected to the email side of life at every moment - my home computer works just fine. Don't go Telstra as they are the most expensive.
I just don't get the phone thing - fullstop. I searched long and hard for a plain phone without even a camera or music player when my last broke ... and couldn't find one! I say stay with your old phone until it dies ... well, that's what I'd do anyway.
Oh GOODY! I've got heaps of apps that I can recommend to you! I'm on an Optus $69 plan, and it's fantastic. I haven't gotten anywhere the 1GB download and $660 worth of included calls. Also, the speed is great and the coverage has not let me down yet!
I'm with Optus too. I have the $99 plan plus data, but work pays. And I don't get near the 1.5GB of data either, even though I'm using it constantly for email etc.
