I have been tagged by West Australian blogger Cellobella to reveal Six Facts and a Fiction about myself. It's supposed to be useful facts but I found that a bit hard. So here's the random facts version. It is up to you to decide which of the following points is in fact a fiction.
- My middle name is the same as the first name of one of the Princesses of England. But it's spelt differently.
- Two weeks ago I bought four current-season Quinces and successfully made Quince paste.
- I am a keen SCUBA diver.
- I studied French for eight years but can barely put together a sentence in that language.
- I have one undergraduate degree, one masters and two further post-graduate diplomas making me a superbly qualified housefrau.
- I've done a bungee-jump, and loved it.
- I'm terrified of heights, and hate flying.
So, what's your guess? Which is the porky-pie?

EASY! I'm going to say the SCUBA thing. I think you were trying to trick us with the last two. Sneaky, sneaky. I don't like being wrong so here's hoping I'm right.

I'm just saying that because I love using Babelfish.
I can't see how anyone with half a brain and all those degrees (I believe that) could want to go scuba-diving or bungee-jumping. So I can't pick.
I'm not sure either . . . but it's all pretty impressive I say. mmmm, maybe it's the quince paste (just trying to pick something different!) . . .
I made my decision before I saw anyones comments and thought it would be the diving. When are you going to let us know?

Mary: I know it doesn't make sense that I have bungee jumped but I do like to challenge my fears (I've also done a BridgeClimb eeek).
Stomper: nope, really hopeless at French. Can read it, can't say it.
Pretty essential: Made Quince paste! Can't believe it but I did it (all four hours of stirring).
Lesley: agree with you on the SCUBA. Firegazer and I are going on a week long trip to FNorth Queensland where he will SCUBA and I will shop/read/knit/spa.
Damn! I'm too late to guess (would have been wrong any way), but I think I'll play. I'll do a post like this in the next few days.
