...and now for something a little lighter
I'd like to show you something that should bring a tear to your eye. Inspired by Melinda's recent post involving a lovely rendition of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" I offer you Britain's Got Talent's little Connie:
I am staying well away from the whys and wherefors of the accountant story except to say that I completely agree with your drive out fear comment. And how sweet is Connie - she'd give Eva Cassidy a run for her money. Um, if Eva were alive that is.
Hi Stomper Girl, not flamed at all but clearly this is a hotter topic than I realised at the moment and I didn't want this gentle little blog to be a comment-fest on the subject. :-)
BTW In hindsight some of my comments did not stand up to scrutiny so I respectfully bow out of the discussion and wait for it to play out without my interference!
I think I will return to posting pictures of my garden instead!
Can you believe Simon was speechless? That child can sing so beautifully.... let's hope her parents are the decent sort and don't ruin her talent with their ambition (if they have them.)

I missed it then did I?
Back to the singing - what a lovely treat to hear and she was so unpretentious, v cute.
I love this bit from Britain's Got Talent! She's just so pitch-perfect.
I just came across to show Fixit the story of the accountant and found it gone! Were you getting flamed by someone?
