At approximately 10pm EST on June 12th 2007 Assignment 3 Part 2 concerning Systemic Functional Grammar was submitted to the Linguistics Department. There ends my Graduate Diploma.
As is fitting for such an occasion the last word of my last assignment was... adieu.

Congrats on the successful completion ! Looking forward to the many blog entries highlighting all those skills.
Thank you Grasshopper, I am very relieved to be finished.
YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
Well done. I know it's been a long hard slog, and I'm mightily impressed.
Are you sure it's adieu and not au revoir?
Adieu was a more poetic choice. And grammar is all about choices.
I must say, my last sentence was more artistic than it was academic. But then I was analysing correspondence between Brett Whiteley and Lloyd Rees...
And it was definately ADIEU to Systemic Functional Grammar. If faced with that course, my advice is to run hard in the opposite direction.
Congrats! What a relief it must be to be finished!
