24 CDs in 128 hours

Last night at 9pm (just in time for Lights Out) KelpieBlossom finished the last of the 24 Harry Potter 5 Audio CDs (see earlier post). That's 24 CDs in 128 hours or an average of 4.6hours of listening a day. Yes, she went to school. Yes, she went to all her afterschool activities.

Back to a noisy house this morning.

I think you can get War and Peace on CD. She's probably ready for it now...and you'd get at least 200 hours of that!

After the ruckus at breakfast this morning I think that might be a good idea!

Very impressive effort by Kelpie Blossom!

Can this count for a book "read" for the MS REadathon or Premier's Reading Challenge? Great effort Kelpie - enjoy the film when you get to see it!

That is an unbelievably good effort!

I also just read that your fireworks fundraiser is on tonight and I've just come inside from another downpour (just checking the drains as you do up here on the upper north shore!) One minute it looks like its about to break up and then it darkens again and delivers a massive downpour. I hope it doesn't have to be cancelled :-(

Alas, our Fireworks Night was cancelled. First cancellation in over 20 years! We are re-scheduling for July.

Grasshopper (from teamsak), I'll have to look that one up. Listening to CDs doesn't really improve ones reading though - just your ability to ignore the family, and act like a teenager.
