A morn at ye local fayre

The annual Rotary Club fair was held in our local area yesterday.

It's a fairly subtle affair with all the usual paraphernalia - Turkish Gozleme, Sausage Sandwiches, Chinese Massage, guy selling socks, girl selling hats for $10, insurance company spruiking their wares.

Not your local hand-made crafts fair you understand.

We go along to support Rotary who support loads of causes in our area and because our school provides the entertainment.

Blossom and the rest of the Senior Band played Pirates of the Caribbean - The Lost Pearl, Superheroes'r'Us, the theme to Hogan's Heroes and 80s Gold (a medley that includes a cool rendition of Thriller!). All popular choices with the crowd.

Blossom had fun with her school friends but Padawan Learner felt that seeing all those kids in school uniform reminded him too much of being at school. I'm fairly easy to please, provided I can get a sausage sandwich.

Beautiful.

These are the real reasons for going to school - community.

Great photos love the sepia (?) touch.

I 'd prefer a steak sandwich ... right now ... reading about the sausage sandwich made my tummy growl.

The Fayre sounds fun.

I am doing NaBLOPOMO too ... I'll be checking in as often as I can.

I love a fair. Our school fair is always in the spring.

Love that Clarinet shot. Of course, I did PLAY the clarinet.

A sausage sandwich always makes the outing better!
