Byron Bay, 14-17 Feb

There I was at our annual conference. Having to get up at 6am each morning to take a Tai Chi/Yoga/Boot Camp class on the beach. I hope you're feeling sorry for me.

The rooms were hard to take.

The eco resort lifestyle was simply awful.

But aaaah, there's a vista we know and love. The conference room with no windows.

Where was I? The Byron at Byron. Lovely spot to be. Pity it wasn't for a quiet weekend sipping cocktails by the pool.

Yeah, me too. Then I genuinely felt sorry for you.

Did you opt for yoga rather than boot camp? Boot camp in such a lovely location is too much of a juxtaposition!

I still don't feel sorry for you.

Were there kids to be fed? Was there washing to be done? Was anybody whining?(Well...actually, thinking about most work conferences...someone probably was whining.)

Anyway...the setting is enough for me not to feel sorry for you! (But what is it with conference rooms having no windows??)

Aha! That's where we went in Sept to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I can recommend the cocktails by the pool if you get a chance one day :-)
I bet it's humid there in Feb though!!

What is it with conference rooms having no windows? Well, you might stare out of them, for one thing, even if it was only onto a brick wall! Anything more would definitely be distracting!

I'm with Fairlie.... no sympathy.

If that conference had the gorgeous views of the earlier pictures, I know why they have no windows... who would EVER get any work accomplished when everyone is staring out the windows?!
