Bath Time (meow!)

Hello, my name is Marble and it has been one year since my last bath.

At least I wasn't the only one. Biggie also had to suffer the indignity.

My staff are quite good at this and at least now I smell divine.

Only 364 days until my next dunking.

Little Miss Pingu has never had a bath, excet for feets, when she's stepped in something unspeakable! They always look so tragic, wet cats :)

Oh the indignity of it!

Oh gosh I know it's mean but I LOVE pictures of wet cats. They make me laugh.

gloves and a nice stew would save you going through the whole thing again next year - and you could feel appropriately virtuous in having, in a small way, helped rid Australia of its vermin plague.

You have to enlighten me...what's the reasoning behind an annual wash? I wouldn't attempt a bath for our two...unless I wanted my arms shredded.

Sometimes they paddle in the swimming pool though...but I think their heritage includes fishing cats.

Fairlie, it's a flea season thing. Extra precaution. Sometimes they get more than one bath...if they're lucky.

Simon, you know how dangerous I can be with a cushion. You are baiting me...again :)

I love the wounded ego look of the wet cat. Poor Marble.

I do love bathing a cat. I think it's that thing where they run off afterwards kicking out their back legs. And the embarrassed look on their little faces.
My boy has a monthly bath during the warmer months. I find it helps to get rid of lots of dead hair, especially if they are brushed before and after the dunking.

WHO is this Simon? I'll help you hold down the cushion.

Simon is my friend. He has, however, been severely bashed with a cushion in the past for making less than savoury remarks about my cat. He is now suitably wary of women who bear cushions.

M, you forgot I am alos a paid up life member of the dead cat society. I can send membership details if you would like.
