See this outside area? Imagine an 8ft wide verandah. Also imagine an Arts and Crafts style bay window above the verandah.
Imagine an 8ft verandah here too.
The back half of this room will become a decent-sized laundry. Walls will be demolished to allow for a new kitchen out of sight of this picture.
This craptastic laundry (which is in the space once occupied by a toilet) will be piled into a skip.

Lucky thing! I wish I could put my laundry in a skip....
No wonder Firegazer disappeared to New Zealand with all that work going on!
What's not to love about your current laundry?? :)
Wow! The new laundry will be the best part of the whole thing, I reckon. Having that all shoved into a toilet space must have been challenging. We've just fixed up our laundry. It's kind of a wide hallway out to the backyard and it had a freestanding tub, our washer and the dryer on the wall and all the other laundry crap just pushed up in piles against the wall. We put in some cupboards, new lights, a bench (alleluia) and painted it a lovely dark grey. I think it is wrong to feel as fondly about a room as I do about this laundry. There's therapy in my future for sure!
Write to me so I can bore you at length at the perils of buying washing baskets that don't fit snuggly together when empty. Been there!
It all sounds very exciting!
Cool!
