Blossom was the recipient, last year, of my first ever hot water bottle cover. Being the first, it was somewhat of an experiment, and it performs somewhat like an experiment (a bit floppy here and there). She asked, if I was ever to consider making another one, could she please have one like Padawan Learner's.
So here I present Blossom's new cover, just in time to take away for our ski week. I had this silver-grey yarn in my stash and think it makes for a lovely cosy looking cover complete with a hand-twisted cord made from a combination of silver-grey and pale blue yarn.

Gorgeous - you're very clever.
Are you some kind of knitting machine? I've done about 10cms of The Impossible Princess's one which is identical to this (different colour though). I'm thinking I should just hand it over to you to finish!
I love Blossom'c colour choice.
Send it up. The trick is to have a deadline (eg. a ski week coming up and/or a complainy ten year old asking how it is coming along).
*Gorgeous*
I love me a hottie.
You're a good mother!
It's gorgeous. It looks like a jumper without arms, so warm, snug and huggable. Nice work!
nice cable-y work!
So well done, I'm sure even your Mum couldn't find something to unravel back to with this fantastic job.
Now that you've finished.... Miss A asked me if I could knit her a pair of long woollen socks the other day - I'm seriously just kidding. I explained to her that we would have a look at the sock department next time we are at the shops - no problems at all.
A hot water bottle cover never looked so good. I'm telling you, up close it looks like a sweater!
As recipient of M's first ever pair of socks ( currently on my feet) I can attest to M's knitting skills. The hot water bottle cover looks terrific.
