Cat Commandment #4: Thou must find the most annoying place to sleep
A cat seeking a place to recline in the afternoon will naturally gravitate to the jigsaw puzzle.
His half-sister, seeing that the jigsaw puzzle is taken, will decide that the box containing the remaining puzzle pieces is more than comfortable, thank you.
It reminds me so much of my beloved Slinky and Malinky. One would lie on the keyboard and one on top of the monitor (with tail and paw blocking the screen).
Oh, and that magic trick of lying on the newspaper ONLY when you want to read it! And the bed linen when you're trying to make the bed... etc etc.
Beautiful, beautiful cats you have there. When the MIL came to stay a few weeks ago, our cat chose to sleep on her bed. He never sleeps there otherwise and I'm sure he only did it as he knows she can't stand cats.

See that just gives me another reason not to want a cat... but I must say they are two gorgeous looking cats :-)

Well, if the humans have been doing something interesting there a cat needs to sleep or at least sit on it to join in the action.
