Girls' Ski Trip to Thredbo '08

The weather was magnificent and there was just enough snow.

The company was just the right amount of crazy

The food was better than any on offer at the local restaurants.

But if offered a sample of the 'Rainbow Python' Schnapps, we recommend you just smile and back away slowly lest you be convinced to swallow this cough-mixture-like concoction.

Only three weeks until my next trip, this time en famille. I'm a lucky little B.

The skiing looks cold and muscle spasm inducing. But yum, the food looks good! Irish coffee for me, keep those schnaaps. They LOOk like cough syrup.

Wow. That does look like fun. (...but cold. Could they just do something about the cold, do you think?)

God, that food looks *delicious* ( why do I always check blogs on an empty tummy ? ).

But i'm with Fairlie on the cold bit. Not a fan of being cold.

Your snow photos are so picturesque. And that is a serious pair of goggles.

OK, I just need to say that it wasn't cold, it's not like you go outside dressed in your swimmers. I do have to agree however that the food was absolutely DEVINE but the company even better. Thanks M for a great time. FYI I pulled my calf muscle yesterday afternoon and have spent today in bed icing it - and I am going to a ball on Friday night, oh well I suppose you cant have it all and I will just have to watch people carving up the dance floor from the sideline.

Like ArmyWife says, it wasn't cold.

As team photographer it was my job to take off my gloves every time I needed to take a photo and it was so mild my hands were not at all cold. Think lovely spring days, except with squeaky snow underfoot.

And then we all got to retire to the lodge to sit in front of a crackling log fire in our trackies and warm socks.

And still, despite your wonderful tips last year, we are yet to go.

Maybe next year!
