KelpieBlossom made this...

... scarf for her class mascot (the mascot is a stuffed toy owl called Grandpa Hooty).

It's all wrapped up in tissue and Christmas paper ready for her to give to him tomorrow.

Is this one of those trick photos? Am I supposed to squint and turn it into an owl?

Oh...silly me...I've just realised it is FOR the owl. A scarf for the owl...

Cute.

You're too funny Fairlie (can I admit I also had to re read to clarify what and who it was for?).

KB is a chip of her old (not so) mother block.

Fairlie, just for you I've re-drafted this post.

That is so cute! I agree with armywife, she obviously learned from a professional.

These are both quite spectacular. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Clever girl. Good for you teaching her the gentle arts so early!

And loved the virtual Christmas Card for which much thanks - esp. loved the mountains shots - of course!

Grandpa Hooty is now wearing his scarf with pride - notwithstanding the searing humidity here.

H&B, I'm afraid those scarves only come in "owl" size at the moment :-)
